Thanks for your comments. I think you're right that I'd probably regret it soon after only because I really do enjoy wearing it to work on a daily basis, and with the iced bezel, I just can't see taking to work anymore. Someone at work already called out, "whoa! Nice bling!" when he saw my CWS the way it is now. It would end up turning into a weekend only watch, and that's no fun.

The diamond bezel actually doesnt look bad. To me, it works with the dial layout. Honestly it still looks tasteful with the diamonds. Just don't add any more. Coming from me, this is a lot. I normally HATE diamonds on a watch.

Thanks for everyone's comments. I think I'll hold off for now, but who knows when I might scratch the itch. :) I mean, I assume Breitling will give you back your old plain bezel after they do the swap? Perhaps it would be an easy switch back if I regretted it. Lol

No, I would only put a diamond bezel on my wife's watch.
Make sure you keep the original bezel if you still decide to do it ;-)

I won't give my opinion. But if you do this terrible thing, please do not post pictures here. ;)

Not 100% sure, but I dont think Breitling will even sell you a diamond bezel. I believe they only offer them when you originally purchase the watch. Youd have to find somebody selling theirs (unlikely for this model), or buy a genuine bezel with aftermarket diamond work done to it.

Btw, I like to wear the watch to work (financial industry), so adding the iced bezel may be over the top, but sorta kinda am tempted to try it out anyway. Lol.

I guess it depends. when you say you work in the financial industry.

Do you work on the financial products and deal with the money of others (in which case no, definitely not) or are you a large financial services company's spokesmodel (in which case yes, absolutely definitely yes)?

I'll say it again. Diamonds are for women. There is actually no watch in the history of mens watches that look good with diamonds on it. IMHO of course. It's like the white SOII. Womens watches.

All been said already, but while I think that Breitling factory diamond bezels are considerably nicer than 99% of the horrible aftermarket stuff out there (i.e. Breitling do diamond bezels very well), I also think they generally have absolutely no business at all on a gents watch. The phrase "Diamonds are a girls best friend" came about for good reason.

I'm went to BUSA a while ago, and recall someone there told me I could swap out a bezel for the diamond one just like I could a dial. Not sure I could keep the old bezel though. I get it though... Folks here don't like iced B'lings. Appreciate all the comments/opinions.

I would want to validate that. Breitling policy was always that they would never sell a diamond bezel separately because the diamond bezel models were considered separate, with certificates, etc.

tho i would only care about how i felt about my own watch, the fact that youre asking indicates your uneasiness with this...

my 2 cents... ice the ice idea. watch looks gorgeous as is.

Maybe the lady gave me the wrong information. I guess if they can't do it at the factory, it's a def no go for me, as I'm not putting on a Vladdy bezel. Lol

If it does not enhance your image, nor career, that alone is
enough to ban crystallized carbon. If you want to try it @
home under safe conditions, use your bezel protector cover-
ed with a scale sized picture of the diamond bezel. This sim-
ulation may satisfy your curiosity without actually undergoing
a watch change operation. Also, if you had an iced bezel, &
accidentally banged your watch, diamonds can chip, crack,
get mashed, & even fall out. You would not pimp your woman,
your valued watch deserves the same considerations.

 Very true...... although we've all probably "iced-out" our women - i.e. bought them diamond earrings, rings, etc - from time to time. Certainly no pimpin' though!!!
