I wish to sell my Blackbird Special Edition model no A13353. Its in near mint condition and was purchased new in Oct 2004. I rotate wearing this along with a Tag and a Rolex so it has not been over worn and has always been very well looked after and also serviced twice over the period.

I have the original box, papers and a spare travel carry case in mint condition. I have just had the watch time checked at a registered dealer and they have confirmed condition is first class, time is within 2 seconds and that fair value is around £3,000.

I am based in Edinburgh and am looking for a reasonably quick sale. I am looking for £2,100 or nearest offer. Happy to arrange delivery in the UK and can secure ship to the US/Overseas for a small fee. I know the photographs are not great but they are the best i can do with Iphone. Please dont let the photo's make you miss the chance of picking up an excellent watch for a fair price.

Payment via BT preferably or paypal with small surcharge to cover fees. M:07971 221923

I have not sold a watch before so have no previous seller feedback but i am 100% genuine.

If you look at other sellers posts, they post up pictures because they are trying to SELL their watches.
The seller does the work.
You might get more interest that way.
or I could just send you the 3000 pounds and wait for a surprise? :poke:

Lots of views but no real interest. Honest feedback appreciated. Surprised no one wants this great watch at what i believe is a fair price.

1) You are a brand new member with no track record here so people will be wary
2) You had to be prompted to provide photos so people will be wary
3) The pictures aren't the greatest so people will be wary
4) You are in the UK which will limit the market outside of Europe
5) It's an older model that doesn't have the same appeal to some members
6) Potential buyers will look at things like the link I sent you via PM several days ago and form their own opinions

Roff,
Appreciate the honest feedback.
I guess its tricky to gather peoples trust. I have one Breitling to sell and was recommended to join a forum by the authorised dealer as he felt i would get a fairer price for my watch rather than selling to him when he would need to pay low in order to mark up and re-sell. He offered me £1750 - maybe thats a reasonable price for simplicity and i should just go for it?
I had offered to supply photo's to any interested parties but as i know i couldn't upload photo's onto my first generation ipad it wasgoing to be tricky to include photo's. As it is my wife took them with her iphone and emailed them to my work pc and i have uploaded them as best i can. To be honest i am not very technically minded so this is all a bit tricky.
I do agree that without photo's i am disadvantaged though so i am really grateful for your advice. Hopefully the photo's i have supplied are ok as it is a really nice watch and somebody would be making a good purchase.
I am not certain why UK sellers are limited outside europe, is it just one of those things or are there tax implications or something?
I found the chrono24 suggestion to view quie useful so thanks again. Think that demonstrates i am asking a pretty fair price.
I think you run a pretty great forum really and its a good service. Its clear that its very active. Hopefully it will come good for me in due course.
Best wishes to you in Canada
P

You are limited outside Europe due to the import taxes that need to be taken in to account for the purchaser. Not to mention the fact that a similar watch will probably cost less there anyway.
We all have to start somewhere so I wish you the best with the sale.
For £1750 I would certainly be interested.

You have a Breitling, a Tag and a Rolex and no digital camera to take decent pics of them ??
Take a look at some of the other sellers on here and you will see 10-20 pics including close ups of the watch. Make it look good.
