I really like the idea of a 24 hour dial, but wondering if the novelty wears off quickly and you wish you had a "regular" watch. Never had a chance to own/use one what are your thoughts?

I've never owned one but I do like the concept. I'd love to own one one day (maybe a Brelting Cossie). Like anything else I'm sure you get used to it given time.

Interested in this as well, particularly if you have a few watches and go from 12 hour to 24 hour watch depending upon the day. For some reason I have my eye on a Glycine Airman Purist 22.

I am not sure about these, anything that makes me think along the lines of 'what is that telling me' is a no no for me. That said a 24 hour seems logical yet all my clocks and timers are set to a 12 hour format. Maybe it's an age thing................. :|

Ha, me too on the Glycine any chance you are looking at the blue one on TZ if not check it out? Seems like a pretty good price, good condition and not out much if you don't like it, probably an easy flip if it were not your thing. How about you buy it and let me know your thoughts :poke: I'd love a Cossie some day down the road...I like em just as much as Navi but want to test the waters on something more modest.

I'm guessing a 24 hours dial might be even more jewelry than watch over standard high $$$ watches. Also guessing more of a conversation piece once you explain them to non-watch types. Both of those are fine IMO. Would be curious to know users that have kept them how much they wear them in relation to other 12 hour watches.

Yep, that's exactly the one I'm thinking about. Debating whether I can since we are in the midst of pipe leak repair at home. The guy did a separate review of it and only complained about hollow-end links on the bracelet, so it would likely only be a strap piece. One local store has Glycine, and I will try to run up there this weekend if I can. Moving deliberately right now.

I loved mine, got used to it very quickly, even as part of a rotation.

Here is a nice Breitling Colt Military Pvd that i own that has both 12 and 24 hour time so it is impossible to mess up.

Perhaps my 24 hour "dial" was incorrect, Rick, I mean a watch where the hour hand only moves 360 degrees once a day. BTW, I like the PVD case on the Colt with the white dial - nice!

I love wearing my CM24 and don't even think about converting the time since it is second nature now. I rotate three and never have a problem going back and forth.

I will say it is a bit of a conversation starter for those that look close enough and then have a perplexed look on their face.

All in all I think it is a nice change up from the norm

I have some and really like them. The 24 hour is pretty easy to adjust to, the only thing that I end up double checking sometimes is the minutes - especially if they are pointing to a baton between the hours.

They're actually really easy to get used to, and even when swapping between that and regular 12 hour watches. Here's the only 24 hour watch I've owned..... and I still miss it.
