I know it's almost illegal to mention it. But has anyone ever had a SA brushed to a satin finish instead of polished?

Blasphemy!  Seriously, I have never seen one brushed a Super Bling Bling Avenger but love the BlackSteel version.

I know I know . lol. Im just thinking out loud here. Let's face it, the SA is ultra bling. It would still be an awesome watch but not as blingy if brushed... More like a Rolex deep sea? But bigger

I think the SA will still look great brushed. Not everyone loves the attention that the Super Bling SA generates to the wearer so a brushed satin finish will make it more subtle and less flashy just like the Rolex Deep Sea.

That thread with the blacksteel super that was converted to a brushed looks really awesome. Very unique.

Do u think busa would do this if requested? So as not to void warranty ?

Also seems like it might be a hard job to get all the links on a bracelet......

I would really consider it after seeing that pic on TZ forum..

I guess my thinking is that sometimes the SA seems like it might be drawing unwanted attention where a Rolex deep sea is a lot more expensive but "looks" cheaper to the in informed....

Oh, lastly I would buy a deep sea if it was bigger... 8 " wrists will do that

a. BUSA will not do it for you.

b. Its not a very difficult job to get the bracelet done for a competent jeweler.

I think it would look pretty cool. Motor City Watch Works will do a great job brushing the SA.

I believe it was Broncosport who asked his AD about a year ago if he could order a brushed SA and his AD checked with BUSA and the one stipulation was he had to put down a non-refundable full deposit for the watch. Check out this thread:

And just for the record (in case anyone this side of the Atlantic is interested), BUK definitely will NOT do anything like this.

I know someone who wanted to swap their Chronomat 01 polished bezel for the brushed version, and BUK wouldn't even do that, even though you can actually buy that version as a standard model!

Thats bizarre.. I wonder if it was just the AD doing it on their own terms and not actually BUSA endorsing or performing the alteration.
