please compare the "5s" in 15 and 45 on the bezels above, the OP seems different from all others

Thanks Fred - wow, you have good eyes, took me a while to notice. Looks like the 5's on the genuine has straighter edges. I wish my photos were clearer that I took, but it looks like the 5's are straight.

Roff spotted that from the get go. I then noticed the 60 being way different from mine.

Wow, thanks to Roff for pointing this thread it to me.

The piece that's pictured is mine. If anyone would like a movement shot, serial number photo, picture of the warranty papers, and matching COSC certificate; then please feel free to PM or send me an email to sales@dfw-watches.com. This watch is as real as they come, and purchased new from from the US AD Radcliffe Jewelers.

Before starting the witch hunt, maybe just shoot the seller a message next time. He may even be a nice guy, and a frequent seller on your local Breitling forum

I'm not so sure it was a witch hunt as it was being cautious. It's very odd that there would be such glaring differences between my watch and your watch.

True, and that's what's great about this forum. I used to be a pretty frequent fake identifier here, as I am forced to keep up with all the latest and greatest junk being produced. More so for Breitling/Panerai than other brands as they have some incredible fakes out now. Being in the industry, I can tell you that there is not a good fake of this piece...not even close actually. There also obviously aren't fake papers being stamped out of China either. On the datewheel, as stated by some previous members, it's 100% and used on many different models. I'm not sure about the bezel font anomalies, but rest assured this one is straight from the factory. I took a picture of the 'born on' date so that you could see. This one was manufactured the 26th week of 2011, making this a very recently made watch. Maybe they switched it over, who knows.

I absolutely hate having serial numbers out in the open, especially on new release models just asking the fakers to steal them, but I felt it justified since this is my home forum and apparently a lot of people are interested....so here they are!

Yup, I never thought that Breitling would have 2 very different versions of the same model.

As a conclusion to this thread and a personal aside - Matt is awesome to deal with. I have had numerous transactions with him and referred other members to him as well, all of whom had the same experience.
