Will be going to my AD tomorrow to pick up a new moonphase. Practical watch, need one that I can take when I go fishing - needs to have a moonphase and a tide chart.

Congrats!!! I'd rather buy from Wally than some ADs.

Now that is an inexpensive, rugged moonphase watch!

Good choice. I'm risking being stoned, but I love digital watches...for certain uses. Within the last month, I just bought two Timex Ironman watches, one standard with a velcro strap, the other with a heart rate monitor. They're great. I bought them mainly to work out, but they come in handy at other times. I'm still bemused by people discussing the right Breitling (or other high-end brand) to wear to the gym or while playing sports. What's the point?

Because most people who buy watches are idiots. For the price, a Gshock or digital is the way to go for recreational use. I love the people who ask if they can wear their watch in the shower, WHY? Do you really need to know the time while you're bathing yourself?

Probably not but a G-Shock can tell you so much more. :D

Not to tell time, but is the easiest way to wash it.

Yeah!! And it's a GREAT way to destroy a multi thousand dollar item that is not supposed to be in rapidly changing environments.

Instructions: "Clean it regularly in lukewarm soapy water...."

I don't want to say Wall Mart is owned and run by Satan but its the single biggest contributing factor to the loss of millions of jobs in the U.S economy in the manufacturing industry's . I prone to saying sure go pick up your substandard plastic crap from China there if you want to ,me I would get the G shock from one of the small independent watch shops and support your local economy not China's . I can't really say what I think of Wall Mart here after all kids read this stuff according to the rules of this forum. :guns: :guns: :guns: :guns:

Maybe your showers differ from mine, but I don't typically think of them as being luke warm.

They're also one of the largest employers in the US and provide affordable products for millions. The point of the post was about a Gshock.

I'd rather clean it with my power washer than take it in the shower.
