As some of you may know, I bought an airowlf a couple months ago. It needed a new battery so it was sent back to BUSA for an overhaul. I got it back and it looked immaculate, and I was happy. Since I got it back, I haven't been wearing it everyday. I didn't want to get it scratched up if I'm working in the lab or machine shop at school. So I've been wearing it every few days, about once a week. I noticed that every time I pick it up to wear, after it's usually been 6 days or so. The digital time reads fine but the hands are about 10 minutes behind and I have to set them again. First time I thought it was a fluke and it wasn't set right so I didn't think much of it, but this morning I had to do it for the third time. last I wore it was Friday last week. I don't think this is normal, anyone has any input?

The heading of your post threw me a little. It might just be the way you worded it, but the analogue part of the Airwolf isn't mechanical. It's powered by the same quartz movement as the digital display. Having owned an Airwolf I would say that it is not normal for the analogue to lose time out of sync with the digital. Others may be able to provide a simple explanation and solution but if you are certain that the analogue is losing time, I'd return it to your AD.

No real logical explanation other than a problem with the running train - definitely needs Breitling attention.

Isn't there a way to sync the hands to the lcd? I read about how to do this in the manual. It's not the same as settings the time, it's actually a sync. I would look up the procedure in the manual before I did sent it back in.

Right, but if I understand the OP correctly it's not maintaining that synchronization. With a quartz watch that's kind of difficult to imagine so I'm guessing that something is preventing the 'tick' of the seconds hand from advancing at times.

Just in case, no insults intended. Make sure you sync the hands with the actual time and not the second time zone! Airwolf has three digital time zones; actual, second time zone and UTC.

Hope it was a simple error like a above!

I'll try the syncing tonight and give it a couple weeks. Thanks for the input guys, and no insults. Some people on here are way more knowledgeable than me.

Sending it back. It's getting worse, it's 40 minutes behind in about 4 days now.

Just to be sure I'm doing this right, I turn the crown to the blank screen and that's where I synchronize the hands to the digital display right?
