Not the same model - Superocean II vs. Superocean 44

I stand corrected and suitably smacked :nutkick: - but none the less 'both' fakes.

Yes, just looking for a deal but it seems the ones on ebay are all fake even though the sellers have a reputable standing.

whoa, let us hold our horses here.
we now know that the serif 11 are correct, thanks nr123 !
the pic might not be the sharpest, but the SO44 at Tourneau's
definitely has the serif 11 !

we have massive differences we have documented above between
the watches on the Breitling site, the OP watch and the watch
that memeber falcon4311 can certify is autentic.

IF serial numbers on watch and all correct documents match, they are
definitely authentic, though it does seem more than strange
Breitling would have bezels with different fonts ?????

knew why I hated these fonts on the bezel, authentic or not ....

Actually, the font on the bezel is one of the things that drew me to this watch. It reminds me of the font that they use on a stock cars which I like. It's also cool that the markers on the bezel are raised and brushed SS. I'm a big fan of brushed finishes.

One of the best things about the store I bought it from said; anytime when I'm in Calgary they will give my watch a refinishing. Also, before the end of the 2 year warranty I will get a free service and they are paying for the shipping both ways. I could have had the watch for $240.00 less at another AD, but that added service was worth it to me. They were very professional, I called 2 that are on Breitling's website, what a difference in the professionalism. The AD in Calgary got my business.

Not sure if this means anything, but the SOC II has the serif on the 1's. Breitling website show the SOC II with the 12 showing and that one has the serif on that number. Good luck s it is Beautiful watch!

AFAIK, there are no replicas of the SuperOcean 44 on the market yet.

Wouldn't be the first time the Breitling web site is not up to date with the details of the watches coming out of the factory.

Problem is not the website for me, but drastically different bezels !

here is another example of an apparently gen watch, this one corresponds
to the pictures published on Breitling.com again, could there really be
several - quite different - gen SO44 bezels ?

I think that there are clearly two types of 'real' bezels - dot and dashes on the minute markers, but I haven't been able to find a convincing real watch with the 5 as per the OP's and still think that it is the first example of the fake.

Please elaborate about the 5.

please compare the "5s" in 15 and 45 on the bezels above, the OP seems different from all others

I just wanted to let you all know that there are serif's on the 1 & 11 only. I'm sorry that I didn't check my watch earlier but those are the only 2 numbers with serif's.

I also find it odd that the watch in question just happened to be set on the 11th. What are the odds?
