Honestly, I'm afraid you're playing to a tough crowd here, as a lot of us appear to have shied away from gold in the last couple of years. Also interesting is the difference between the look in the case and the photos on your wrist. In the case, the ivory looks better to me and surprisingly even the champagne with the white stick markers look nice. On the wrist I'm still voting black almost by default, but in terms of subtlety vs. over-the-top, one of my business partners has worn an ivory with romans TT Datejust Thunderbird for years, and it's a great look--gold without the heavier or more formal look that black brings. Still think that set up would be nice on this size of watch.

Ivory, the black looks like old man on a cruise waiting for crab legs and getting out of line because his prostate is giving him problems...based totally on your pictures. I know they can be a lot different in person. Go with your gut. Nice problem to have.

Dam right this is a tough crowd! The angle of the photo makes the gold POP on the black face much more. Once again, I think the Black is a real eye catcher, but I think the Ivory is more realistic for dressing up and down.

Looks to me like you're simply going to have to get both. :D

The white looks like it wears bigger on you. It could be the angle. I originally voted black, but I think now after giving it another look, I'd get the white one. Get in the car, drive to the store and just buy it.

It's being delivered tomorrow. I'll put it on my wrist for a few hours and make my decision then :D (The Ivory that is)

Ivory for me, no question at all. I like black dials on Breitling TT watches, but that Rolie looks infinitely better in ivory IMO.

Definitely +1

Edit: Was doing a bit of catch up, so congrats for the new piece mrcheatle, you've made a good choice, don't worry.
