....and if so, how long does it take for the pain to settle?!

I sold my M1 yesterday, and im actually missing the watch.
The feel on my wrist, the fact that i know that it isnt in my safe.
The fact that i know that the new owner is wearing it and smiling evertime he goes to look at the time, which is probably about every 3 minutes!

Is my behaviour odd, or is this a regular occurence?!

No. Maybe the black dial fish. Other than that, no. Right now I have the watches I want right now. FWIW

Yes my IWC 5001-07 I miss that one very very much. Sold it to buy an ROO Black Themes which I was highly disappointed with and is now long gone.

I also regretted selling my planet ocean Olympic Chrono but I bought it back from the buyer :) out of about 60 sales, only regretting two isn't bad!

I regretted selling my Bentley Le Mans for quite some time. Totally over it now though.

Ironically, the only watch I don't regret selling is my M1.

For anybody who knows me, it wouldn't be a shock that I regretted selling the Breguet XXI. I still don't know if I'll ever own as nice a watch. But it was brown, and almost too nice. I had some regrets about the JLC GMT and a blue Steelfish, but they needed to happen at the time. End of the day, hard to regret the sales because they provided opportunities for other watches.

i feel your pain i sold my M1 some years ago, miss it, dont really understand why since i have the CA, i think its the white subdials on the black dial... dont own any watches in that config... must be it

anyway...you must sell 1 to buy another or else the pain will never go away hehehe

I always regret selling every single watch I do until I replace it with a piece that meets that same need, and exceeds the last piece in doing so.

I've regretted buying one or two (maybe there's a new thread in that) but never selling.

I regret selling my PAM 111 and my CA. I have an Avenger Skyland now which helps me cope with the loss of my CA but I still miss the 111.
