Lovely Merc,

I have an identical piece which is away for service with BUK as I write. I am getting the hands changed from skeleton to solid as I find it a pain trying to read the time at night - how do you get on with that?

Here is mine :D .

Your 'Wolf has the skeleton minute hand like mine. It's a pig to read at night - my eyesight is so bad that I have no chance of reading the NV at night without my specs/contact lenses :whiner: . I'm hoping that the solid hand (like the later Airwolf and Raven) will be easier to see :D .

Don't you think the Blue face looks Black sometimes in the light, is it blue/black, :lingsrock:

the Airwolf has a great name, great design, great usable features, and very versatile for strap combinations, that's why i like them soooo much.

I think it probably does Merc, my blue faced B1 sometimes used to look verrrrrrrrry dark blue or sometimes black in certain light - mostly a lovely blue though. But, my black faced Airwolf sometimes looks blue when the light catches the AR coating.

Well said Merc and I couldn't have put it better myself, a man after my own heart :cheer:

I would definitely say it is blue. However, you are totally correct in saying it can appear blue/black, and maybe even grey (another Airwolf face colour).
I had intended on buying the black version, but changed my mind at the last moment. Bought the last blue that the AD had. The black face looks great, but I love the variety of colours that the blue face offers.
