Thought I'd post my very first beauty shot.

Hi BRNW,

Great picture and a great watch.

I have the same model but in blue. Love mine to death.

Later

Thanks for the comments...It's my first Breitling and might I add, the first watch worth mentioning out of my collection. I had been thinking about this for a while and was debating on the Navitmer 01, the World and the Super Avanger. I opted for the World mostly because of its size. But let me say this, the Navitmer 01 is not out of my system and the SA will just have to happen eventually...highly addictive and beautiful pieces.

I believe you made the right choice.
The World definitely has the size advantage over the 01 and is more distinctive.
The SA is just way too large and chunky. (IMHO)

Nice choice! I'm looking at the exact same combo at the moment. Already tried it on at the AD so it's probably only a matter of time until I cave in and buy it. There are limits to a man's self control! :-)

That's the same thing I got, too. But it wasn't an interest in quality watches that got me into it; it was the Navitimer that got me into Breitling. I ended up with the World because I wanted to track UTC along with local time. The larger size is simply a bonus for older eyes.

I agree with you. Something about the Navitimer. It's like I've been chasing THAT watch for several years and have finally come to the realization that there is only one like it and it's a Breitling!!!

I can relate to "several years". It's taken me over 20 to pull the trigger.

Thank you! I think the watch itself would make any shot look good...
