I'd like the watch a lot more if the liquid wasn't fluorescent green. I personally wish they would have gone for a more subdued color that blended better with the watch. Nonetheless, it's a really cool idea and I do like the aesthetics of the piece.

Formal announcement today and I am actually surprised about the price. Not cheap by any means, but a list price of $45,000 is a lot less than I was expecting - http://blog.perpetuelle.com/only-watch/hyt-h1-watch/

Damn thats nice. I wonder if the PR tube will have residue left in it when the liquid recedes though. That would look pretty stupid.

It's not the power reserve. It's the time. The power reserve is a small sub on the right side of the dial. That makes it even cooler in my book!

The liquid tube shows the hour, hence the push-pull piston. 65-hr PR is a small gauge on the right of the minute dial. All in all, just so damn sexy!

If it's available for the layman collector like me, I might seriously consider releasing some of my Panerais!

aaahhh...now that I look at it, I guess youre right. The first article says "the worlds first liquid power reserve meter"... Either theyre wrong or I still dont get it.

In any event, I still wonder if the liquid leaves a residue.

Actually it's not too bad on the price...wonder what kind of discounts one could expect, if any. It will be a few years down the road before any pre-owned versions are available I'm sure. Guess I'll have to wait awhile before I could even consider one. It would really be a unique addition to any collection though. I guess it's safe to assume this is an in-house movement being that it's so unique eh?

Probably, or at least exclusive module.

It will be interesting to see if there will be replicas and what their price will be. Maybe I could afford a replica!!!

Sorry. I don't own any repliclas of anything even British Cars but $45,000 is a little steep! Should I remove my previous comment.
