do navitimers have similar issues? Or, it only applies to World?

The usually reported problem is with the second time zone hand, which is exclusive to the Navi World. This also makes the movement unique in the Navitimer range, although of course all mechanical watches are mini machines and machines break sometimes.

Bluetony,

I think it is really only the Worlds that have the most problems but I have heard that all Navitimers are quirky from several Breitling owners. They cannot withstand the everyday abuse as most other lings can. Great watches but not really meant for everyday use IMHO. My World never worked correctly from day one and just got worse the more I wore it everyday. I wore Chronomats for 15 years without any problems at all and beat the heck out of them and they ran perfectly. I have only owned one Navitimer and even though I love the looks of the watch it will be my last Navitimer. They are more of a special occasion watch then an everyday watch so if you go in with that in mind then I am sure you will not have most of the problems that you would get with everyday wear and tear.

Brian,

I understand you not wanting to take it off your wrist lol. I know it is such a shame that this particular watch has so many problems huh. I just hope we can get all our Worlds fixed and enjoy them for the beautiful watches they are supposed to be.

No doubt.

I know I'll send it in before the warranty is up, but I'm dreading loosing the piece for a few months.

4 months is just not acceptable Naviman. You want to raising hell with Breitling USA about that one. They should be sending free gifts every week to make up for it!
