When i purchased my skyracer raven,my AD assured me that bezels are interchangeable and a very easy swap by a watchmaker.
He didn't mentioned anything about messing with crystal or gears.I'm only talking about the outer black bezel ring.

Removing the bezel of a skyracer means removing the crystal as well since they are attached.

Are you sure about that guys? It's been a while since I've handled a Skyracer, but I don't recall thinking the crystal was attached to it in the same way that a Navi crystal is.

Its been a while for me too, so I may be wrong. I have a vague memory of watching a piece of dust rotate on the crystal while I turned the bezel a year or two ago. I could be mixing it up with another model though.

I owned one about a year ago, the crystal is not attached to the bezel, however with the slide rule you could run into rotation problems. I know we frown upon diamonds but the one that i owned, featured a small diamond bezel that was drilled into the factory bezel (I'm not into it anymore :) ) However it did look great!
