Would you sell a black dial and yellow dial SOP and pick up a black dial steelfish?

I'd just sell the black dial SOP and come with the cash for the difference. The yellow is unique and something you might not see too often so it would be cool to have.

If you're not using them much, then yes - sell on and buy one which you might use more.

^That's a good idea.

But...

There is just something about the black SOP. Sometimes the dial looks really deep black and other angles it's like a black/gray slate color. I love it.

......and it was the 1st breitling I ever bought.

I got the same kind of problem with my CSO...I'd really like something a little bigger, like the Avenger. I just can't sell my CSO because it's my first Breitling and also, i love it as a daily wearer because of the day-date complication...Need more funds. lol

I know someone who used to buy specialist cars expressly to sell on for profit. His ultimate goal was to work up toward the classic car of his dreams, but I could never understand how he could bear to part with some of the rarer ones. However, as he said himself, he had to be cold and clinical.
He started doing the same thing with high end watches a few years back, sometimes waiting ages for the right deal. Something warmed him up inside though, and as of last summer he owns close on thirty keepers :)

Since you don't seem to want to sell it, why do you ask then? :?

There's no argument against sentimental...

Well then get a Black Dial SF, same effect. Any SF owners will vouch for them!

Super watches.

Currently have mine on Clack Calf

Here's a old pic of mine...

I guess the Doxa is not on the table. IMO all three Breitlings are more appealing. As others have said, I would keep the yellow SO. It is funny how we all start collecting watches. Before you know it you haven't worn one for a long while.

I try to not to get too attached to material things, but watches play games with my head. :tmi:

Simple answer - NO!

Just find the money to buy the Steelfish.
