I purchased this Breitling Chronomat Evolution and would like assistance identifying whether real or fake. The movt is fully decorated with pearlage and the whole 9, the cardinal markings are correct on the, screws are flat, crown threads hidden, lume is perfect showing slight raised "dots" on the 3, 6, 9 and two 12 batons (the short ones) and all other batons fully covered and not messy, box and matching serial paperwork (but paperwork can be faked very easily). Had it appraised and the appraiser said it was legit. There are two things that disturb me, there is light stamping showing through on the clasp, but my understanding is this is not a def give away, and it is the incorrect bracelet model (350 A). The other however is more obvious: The bottom part of the last "E" in Suisse on the caseback is missing and looks like an "F"... I have watched and read all the spotting fake threads, and still believe it to be real, but that darn E bothers the heck out of me. You be the judge, i think i am ready... :fake: or :real: Thank you all for your time. Cheers!

Can't comment on the bracelet (don't know the ref #) but the watch certainly looks real to me.

The missing stroke on the E is odd and I've no idea why this would happen.

Thank you for the reply. I read your spotting a fake page as well, and it seems to hit all the checks and pass all inspection. It's just that E. now days they have amazing replica casebacks, so it's a little unsettling. Like you said though, everything else looks legit. as for te bracelet, it should be 357A I believe (22/20mm ss), but the bracelet on it , 350A, is 22/18mm ss (still believe it to be authentic with correct model and birthdate etched in it, just not right model).

350A is a Headwind bracelet and it looks fine. As Sharky say, watch also looks real and I can only assume that the caseback stamping is a quality control failure.

The serial number fits to the watch (A1335611/F517). I can now easily check the serial numbers with the repair tracking system, unless they are too old.

Oh, I forgot to say: The diamond bezel seems not to be original. It sure was an upgrade.
