The Watch Snob says Vintage Watch Dealers are "one level above cocaine dealers."

The latter. We learn "dirty little secrets" like dealers will always try buy a watch from you at less than it's worth. I'm shocked! I would have sworn they always offered exactly what it was worth or more. Anyway, that little gem of a secret took 8 minutes and about 50 F-bombs.

I think it's more likely the other watch dealers would refuse to deal with him because of his implication they are all too stupid to figure out the guy who goes under the pseudonym "Archie" in his videos is the same guy who publishes e-books under his own name.

Now here's a watch video that is genuinely interesting and informative. (I agree with some of the commentators that the audio mixing is problematic, but whatever.) Ironically, it is featured on one of Archie's websites. I just linked straight to Youtube.

Let me guess? The evil dealer buys the watches at a lower price and turns around trys to sell them for a proffit!!!
