Does your car match your watch?
That is a question I have seen raised on the American based Rolex forums (until I was banned).
I personally don't think a car says anything that special these days...
I will list my car and watch combination for a bit of light hearted fun...
Archie has since sold the Mercedes (for a profit) and bought a Rolex Explorer II White dial with the windfall.

These days cars are just a means of getting from A to B. I was badly burnt with my Alfa Romeo Sillyspeed 156 many years ago.... The Eurotrash stuff looks great but the reliability is a big question.

I couldn't disagree more.

let´s feed the troll a little.

Archie/Paul, I do not care too much about your watches, but this Pagoda SL is a very nice car.

Does my car match my watches: never thought about this, but it does match my taste, so probably yes.

:yeahthat

just like wine - preferably mixed with coke - is just a way to get drunk ....

Although my long love affair with your favorite 4-wheel brand (starting with a 1600ti, then a 2002tii, a 320i, a 525i to the 735i of crazy electronics) has ended some time ago.

And a house is just to protect you from the elements....

I drive a Yukon Denali XL to tote around 3 boys and all of their sport gear, school crap, and friends.

I now wear a Navi which is big enough to knock them over the head with when they act like asses. And they do...

At face value, this statement may or may not be true, depending on the circumstances. If someone is driving a Honda Civic just to get from A to B, then I'd say your statement is true. Within the context of your car, it's clearly not true, and I'm sure you know it. Hopefully whoever bought it is showing it the appreciation it deserves.

I drive a Prius. There are days where my watch is worth more than my car. What does that say?

Why should my watch match my car? Why is that related?

Does your watch match your underwear?

Was rather as far as Archie is concerned. I'm sure the new owner appreciates it for what it is and he doesn't consider it an A to B means of transportation.

I think most of us will agree that it is better if we don't see pics of this.

@dhalem...very well said. Don't understand why someone's watch and car should match. It isn't that I don't like cars, but I just see them as a bad place for me to "sink" my money into.
