One wrist watch, probably the Louis Moinet Twintech, one watch would actually likely be one of the pocket watches in my collection. One Breitling, probably a vintage piece, of the modern ones it would be the Navi 01.

That is cheating Roff... :nono: ...just one.

I'd likely go with the JLC MCDC. But it is of course a tough call.

Apparently I need to take a closer look at the GMTIIc. I always assumed my first Rolex would be the Sub-c or the new Explorer II with the larger case, but clearly I need to look at the GMTIIc again.

The GMTII-C is a great watch, no question. I marginally prefer the Sub, although if I traveled more, that might tip the balance in favor of the GMT for me. Really, you can't go wrong with either one.

Taking the title literally - that it has to be a watch from my current collection - the answer is none. My collection, such as it is, is in transition.

I couldn't have put it better myself.

I've had a game plan for what I want my collection to look like for about a year now, but the current economic climate and major house expenses have just massively curtailed my previously somewhat frivolous watch-buying.

So as it stands I can safely say I'm not going to keep any of my current watches long term. For example, I really like my Navi World, but I'd chop it in in a heartbeat if an inhouse version came along. Likewise, before having actually lived with "The Worst TimeKeeping Watch In The World Costing £10,000" (TM), I would have said I'd never sell my IWC Big Pilot, but the issues I've had with it mean that it will definitely be departing at some point. (I've seen more accurate sundials!)

I know what I want to buy, but as I've never owned the ones I really want I can't say for certain that they'd be keepers. I hope and believe they will, but I can't say.

So back to the question, my answer is none.

Not a tough one for me, although I have a number of watches that I absolutely love in my collection that cost more such as the Patek 5726, AP ROO, Glashutte PanoMatic etc, I still would choose the PAM 233 Dot for its versatility and perfect proportions and sublime dial layout. I just love how simple yet functional the watch is, and it looks great with formal and casual situations! Plus it works with allot of strap options so I am not likely to get bored. A close second would be the Patek though.

Great thread. Of my current watches it would be a vintage big case Chronomat but i have to admit that some of the watches being discussed here are pretty attractive; getting more attracted to Rolex al the time.

Just one? The Egiziano. Getting older, eyesights deterioting, pretty soon I won't be able to see and enjoy any watch other than the 60mm Egi...

Keeping just one and it would need to be a Breitling, it would be the Navi B01 LE. Classic model, in-house engine, display back.

If not limited to Breitling but just one of the collection, it would be my PAM112. Works with all occasions, even in water. Fits with all strap styles. Surely I can change straps easily on my Breitlings too, but they don't feel as versatile when it comes to allowing different types.

Easy for mean since I only have two watches that are worth anything. It would be the PO. I've actually been thinking of selling my Blackbird then all I'd have is the PO but it really is a great all around watch.

Hi All!

If I had to keep just one watch, it would have to be the IWC Mark XVI - Very Comfortable To Wear, Awesome Craftsmanship, Robust, Understated Elegance!

Speaking Breitling I would keep the 50th Anniversary Navitimer; presently, I am seriously considering getting rid of the 1461/52 - my eyesight is not what it use to be and I am only 44! lol

Cheers,
Enezdez

Navi Montbrillant 1903 - no shocks here I'm sure  Having said that though, the water resistance (or lack of) is an issue.

Easy. I have three well-loved watches, my Breitling, a Seiko and a CK. Of these, I'd keep my Navi World, no question!

Out of my small and humble collection, it will have to be the Navitimer. A classic Breitling, period.

Easy question for me too. Sub C, without doubt, even though I've only had it a few weeks.
