Don't give anyone at Breitling anymore stupid ideas...they seem to have plenty of those already.

$17,700.00 USD as far as I can tell. I would need a significant discount to justify its purchase! I found 26% off on a grey market site, but that is still well above the budget for a modest income fella like me.... :( But I am not afraid to go pre-loved to get something of this caliber. Problem is that I dont see the chrono version come up on the usual for sale sites, all that often. The regular, non-chrono, seems to be for sale every so often and the price isn't terrible.

25% is about what you'll get (assuming the US is similar market to up here). Resale is a better option, but as you say not easy to find one.

I am sure VC makes a great watch. But somehow the brand just doesnt do it for me. They seem to be more of a dress watch. Great company just not my style

Great watch Scott, I share your sentiments for VC. While that one isn't my all time favourite, it's a great watch, particularly the chrono version.

I was never a fan of the Overseas Chrono until today. OMG is this an incredible piece or what???? Saw some real life photos today in a sales thread on another forum and i must go try one of these on. The finish on the bracelet and case looks impeccable.

I tried on a preowned black dial Chrono at Govberg and was amazed at how comfortable they were. A truly great watch, but a little too expensive for me.

No dealers in AZ, so before I would buy one I would have to go to Vegas or LA. It may be my favorite attainable watch and has been for quite a while. Two issue I foresee - (1) no half link, and (2) length from the attached end links. It could be pretty long even with a 42mm diameter.

Not too many weeks go by when I do not check out the white dial Dual Time and black dial Chrono. I have read some reviews of other owners though who complained that the lack of any micro adjustment was an issue. I don't understand why there is a propensity for somehigher end brands to eschew adjustable bracelets, even if only a half link. Breguet doesn't do it either, but the removable links on the Type XXI are so narrow they effectively function as half links. I would have picked up a black dial Marine big date on bracelet, but it was unwearable because the links were normal width without half links. Sad, sad, sad.

The details were amazing and it wore very comfortable. The problem was I had just gotten done wearing an AP ROO chrono so it felt pretty small on my wrist. With smaller wrists, I could see this being the perfect watch. They also have one of these preowned, but I didn't get a chance to see it.

Given the choice, I'd still get the chrono.

Yeah, not a fan of that one myself. My 3 favorite features of the Overseas are - the bracelet, the polished bezel against the perfectly brushed case, and the beautifully textured dial. It would be an all or nothing for me on the Overseas w/bracelet. Perhaps the next time I'm in Vegas, I'll get a chance to try one on sized.

there is one for sale on a TZ-UK, for £7250 - the same as the one pictured but with a black not silver dial - http://www.tz-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=177822

** I have no affiliation with the seller just saw it after reading this thread and wanted to point it out to you
