Now that's sensible: charging $50 extra for a strap with less material. Gotta love Breitling.

BTW, do they make short rubber straps, too? I'm still considering a DPII on deployant. With a 6.5 inch wrist, should I go short?

Good point JacksonStone, $50 more for a shorter strap, just like the new Porsche boxter spyder  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0VcNPFq0O4 watch between 1:29 and 1:52

I have the same size wrist as you, 6.5, and my AD made sure to cut the rubber strap down to size so it fits perfectly. You should go for the PDII on deployant, if it feels good, do it  I got the CSO on the proII bracelet now but I am seriously thinking about changing it back to the DPII. It just looks awesome!

And, finally, a bit dissapointed that, based on your comments, the deployment clasp might not be suitable for small wrists, as I considering buying one. I guess I have to try before.
(Do the leather straps for deployment clasp come in short size - or does it even matter much ?)

Thanks.

My wrists are 6.5 and I have a Breitling deployant on all my Breitlings and I love it. You should try one on and see how it fits. If you want to get a "shorter" deployant I know that Sharkman gets his from here http://www.mywatchmaker.net/deployantclasp.htm also, they're much cheaper than the Breitling ones. Good luck!
