Hey guys,

After almost 2 months without my precious i received a phone call yesterday informing me my watch was ready. I was very excited and was expecting the watch to be fixed but to my surprise it received a full service. It looked beautiful! It looked brand new! What really surprised me was how well they buffed out all the scratches. The clasp alone was amazingly scratch free! :strummin:

There is a drawback however. Now that my watch is back to it's former state I find myself babying my watch more than ever. I'm sure it will pass but for now I'm very aware where and when I wear my watch.

Nice work, particularly as that is a long time for you to be parted from your watch.

Great feedback that you consider the quality of service work high. Funny that you're baby'ing it. I'll give you a week before you're bashing it about again

Haha. Congrats on getting your "new" watch. I had the same experience with a Skyracer. Needed a full chrono service but never expected it would come back with a pristene exterior.

Glad to hear you have it back. Once you get the first scratch in it, it will be game on again. I'm like that with everything new. Once it gets scratched, Game on.

I thought they did that to ALL repairs .. guess not. I sent in a Mark VI for repair and thought the few scratches would be buffed out. I was wrong. My AD stepped up though and did it as a courtesy even though I didn't buy the watch there.

Good luck with you "new" watch Jefferson.

I always baby my watches. I know some people really bash their watches about but I get all neurotic about scratches and brick walls etc.

Congratulations Jefferson and I am sure you'll enjoy it all over again as the first time you got it.
