Other than our beloved Breitling, what brands are on everyone's wish list? I'm heading to Basel on the 23rd and looking for the latest and greatest! I know Breitling is going to step up to the plate big time, but the watch enthusiast in me is always wanting to add great brands!

Input and advice from my Breitling brethren is greatly appreciated!

Thanks folks!

I hear a lot of rumours about some big announcements from Zenith and the Captain that they have already released is a nice looking piece.

Breguet always has some highlights as well. Other than that I think it's exciting to see what impact the 2010 bounceback has had on new announcements - 2010 revenue was such a big improvement from 2009 I suspect that we will start to see a little more adventure in some of the releases again as brands don't have to focus on conservative mainstream sellers.

Ok having just seen the latest announcement I would recommend stopping by Ateliers de Monaco - this thing looks pretty damn good - http://www.atelier-demonaco.com/press/

The new Hautlence piece of the year is always worth looking at as well and as this year's comes in at $200k you may not see too many 'in the wild'

Nice watch, but a striking resemblance to the Cartier Ballon Bleu Tourbillon (although thats certainly not a bad thing).

Hadn't thought of that, but yes. Would love to see the RG in the flesh, that colour looks remarkable.

Bere,
I would love to have seen a Richard Mille or Urwerk in one of your cases but am very pleased with the Centennial L/E I got. I would also say that Panerai is also up there on my list. Have a great time at Basel. I will try to stop in and discuss the trip with you when you return.

No Panerai at Basel, they were SIHH earlier in the year.

Back from Basel guys and ended up adding two brands to our collection. Bell & Ross and also Graham London... I've been researching B&R for a few years, met with them in Basel last year and again this year. Everyone I talked to from Breitling, Tag, other store owners from around the world to the past president of Vacheron, all said Bell & Ross was a no brainer.

As far as Graham goes, this was a little tougher to pull the trigger, but I've loved the looked for a while now. For sure more of a niche brand but I already have four guys from Dallas to Pensacola on the waiting list. Some folks will love the look and some won't... Again, the past president of Vacheron loves Graham and said in his opinion, under the new USA distributor it should work well for us in our aviation region along with B&R. The Graham Chronofighter is sweet...

Thanks for all of your input folks!

Excellent! I actually like the Graham dials, the case size is just too large for me unfortunately.

B&R has some unique designs (radar, compass, etc.), will be keeping my eye on them.

Good luck with the new brands!
