I will need a confimred headcount to get the ball rolling on negotiations with Gunther regarding price, payment, and delivery. Expected price for a GMT is in the 450 Euro range.

I've had to vote "maybe" as a lot will depend on where the design ends up. I'm being more careful with purchases these days, so I'm going to play a bit of a waiting at the mo.

As a result of my "maybe-ness" I'm happy to take a backseat in terms of specific design points as I don't want to influence things too much if I'm not 100%.

I voted maybe as well, as I'm not prepared to commit 100% without seeing the design, but that's my only concern.

I voted maybe and echo Roffs comments.

Cheers

I've voted maybe too, sorry! For all the reasons D8 and Roff stated. Hopefully that will not hamper any negotiations with Gunther. All in all I think the watch is looking good but 'colour' may be an issue with me.

Anyway lets hope it all works out.

Cheers

I'm bowing out at this point. I just don't think that this watch (even as nice as it could be) will get any wrist time and so it not for me. Thanks.

With the red bezel winning the poll, I am officially OUT too. (Oh and the hand vote went against me as well! )

Never mind, I'm sure it'll be a great watch all the same - just not for me.

Likewise, I'm out, but hope that the buyers enjoy it.

Unfortunately the forum doesn't allow for changing votes, so I can't change it from 'Maybe'

I've been in Italy for a couple of days and haven't been able to access the forum, even less being able to vote. Personally I think the polls close too quickly, there's no harm having them up for up to a week so more people can see them and act.

As the bezel now seems to be red, I have to drop out. That would, amazingly enough, be a bit too sharp even for me.

Wow, this project totaly escaped me... too bad, the red one won the poll, as the red part of the GMT-Bezel really doesn't look that hot in real live.

(It kind of lets you see the mechanic of the bezel underneath, as it's a little translucent...)

If it had been a darker blue I'd be all over it... but so I'm sticking with "maybe" :?

Sorry Aleister but this LE is Altair's baby so I just locked up the threads when he asked me to. I'm more than happy to open all the polls again if Altair's cool with it. Any thoughts Altair?

PS - I've decided I'm still out of this one irrespective of reopening the polls, but I'm happy to help the rest of you get it made.

Yeah sorry Aleister, I guess I try and get as much done in as short a time as possible, I forgot about people who travel and cant see the boards as often.

I have already contacted Gunther regarding the specs and I am awaiting his response, the reason we closed was that the options that won did so with a considerable margin! However I am more than happy to let people vote again, if we get a higher number on the rest of the votes then as I said, I am willing to ask Gunther to split this LE into two designs to satisfy as many people as possible.

It's like Florida in 2000 around here.

I fail to see the downside of giving as many people as possible a chance to decide how they want to spend their money.

Altair has already said that he will ask Gunther to split so people who chose the original colour / hand combo aren't going to lose out by other people having a chance to either agree or select a second option. I suspect that the total votes cast on both bezel and hand votes were less than the production run when locked.
