This is a watch that I have been after for a long time, ever since its announcement actually. The increased size and simpler dials made this a must have for me! Its an LE so finding one at a decent price took some time, but finally it is mine.

Image

The Reverso has always seemed like an exceptionally elegant watch to me, with its rectangular shape and clean dials. The hand decorations on the dial are typically beautifully as is the Jaeger standard, it looks fantastic with a suit or a dress shirt, but not so much with casual clothing.

Image

This particular LE has got two dials, a main time dial and a second one to showcase the other functions such as the moon phase and the second time zone, I have always felt that the Reverso had one dial, and showcased extra functions on the back to minimize clutter, and always found it odd that some people would consider the back a second main dial, especially since it is clearly marked "Home Time" and no where in the Jaeger documentation or advertising is it mentioned in that capacity. But to each his own.

Image

One particularly impressive aspect of the watch is the fact that it runs two sides with different times and functions with the same movement, and at such an entry level price. Only Jaeger can pull that off! The finishing on the case and the decoration and attention to detail shown, even on the housing case underside, is exceptional. With each watch added to my collection from Jaeger, I wonder why I dont have more of their models!!!

I apologize for the short review, as I am pressed for time. I would have loved to review the Reverso' history, but will leave that for another post.

Another great pick up was the rubber coated titanium bracelet for my Navy Seals Alarm which transforms the watch completely! One of my favorite all time bracelets and an amazing piece of engineering! Jaeger shows some originality and a high level of engineering prowess here!

The deployant is equally impressive and very well finished!

Funny, just a day or two ago I was looking at that exact Reverso and thinking how cool it was to have a black and white dial on the same watch. The detail on the dial is pretty amazing.

And that bracelet is pretty awesome as as well. Back when I was looking at the chrono diver I was sure that the regular titanium bracelet would be my choice. The store only had the articulated rubber, and man it was impressive. Looks like a rubber strap, but wears and feels like a bracelet. Weird and cool at the same time.

Congrats on some seriously nice pickups. Now ill just wait for some pics of the GO when it arrives. I read a review about one after your post the other day, and that thing is sick!

EDIT: And apparently youve already posted the review lol.

Great pictures of a beautiful watch Altair!!! That is probably my favorite version of the Reverso. I can't wait for my articulated rubber bracelet...I have tried on Sergio's...and it was the nicest rubber option I have seen in the flesh.

Single greatest rubber option available...hands down. And the micro adjustments on the clasp are awesome because my wrists swell during the time and the adjustment is so useful.

I don't know why I can't get into the reverso's....they're an engineering marvel but I haven't gotten into them yet. I like the Breitling crocs on them tho.

BRB, wiping the drool off my keyboard...

Both beautiful. The complications on the Reverso are amazing... If I may ask, what's the price point on that model?

Well haven't we been a busy boy!

Never quite got the reverso thing, but I do keep going back to them every few months and that does look very elegant.

Agree that the rubber bracelet is incredible.

You certainly don't do things in halves Altair. Another nice couple of pick-ups! I like the classic look of the reverso, particularly the strap while the Seals watch is definitely very nice. Well done!

You seem to "not get" a couple of things lately, huh? First the ROO and now the reversal. How about "if you can't resist your ongoing negativity, why not simply leave it alone?"

:?:

First of all, I think you are showing quite a bit more negativity in your reply, and not getting a certane watch design or particular model or brand can't really be said to be negativity, thats simply personal taste. I dont get most of the freaky watches Roff buys either  but I certanly dont mean any negativity by it.

Not sure but this seems like it has roots, I would say take a step back and relax my friend, and I would think twise about attacking a well respected member and admin on these forums.

I don't know if its the photos or what with the first looks stunning. I'm not really a fan of those type(shape) of watches but that certainly strikes a chord with me, as I say maybe the quality of photos.

The 'Navy Seals' is just awesome, can we not base the LE around that? :D

Great watches, loved looking at them!

Cheers

Many Congratulations Ahmed.

I had a JLC Grand Reverso Home Time. I loved it and still miss it.

I love that rubber strap as well. It transforms the Navy Seals Alarm and fits in with its design aspirations perfectly.
