Hi all new at this...Well i bought this at a reclcle center and was wondering if it is a real one or a fake..eather way i got it for a good price!

Sunken date wheel, too much space between bezel and sliderule numbers, wrong subdials.

its good to know what to look out for

it would help loads ( for us newbies ) to see an example of the real thing , to compare

Why did the heritage get discontinued - seeing that photo Elwyn really shows how awesome it is.

Beats me. :huh I'm guessing sales figures, but for the life of me I can't figure out why the Steelfish would be discontinued. It had to be one of the most popular models as it seems almost every member on this board has one and swears by it.

Well thankyou very much for the information...i'm glad to know..one good thing though it only put me out $2 ..was just wondering if it was my lucky day...I will keep looking for the real thing though!!!!
