Was on timezone looking at the sale forum, saw this post. This is a cool strap for the Avenger Skyland Blacksteel... niceest combo I've seen! I'm not affiliated or know anything about this guy so i'm not endorsing him.. just like the strap :)

Very nice, looks like it could have been a factory option. If I manage to snag a Blacksteel sometime (my AD is looking for one for me) I might be inclined to order one of those straps.

I wonder if it comes with the buckle. If not, it probably costs big $$ to get one.

Well, the blacksteel comes with that buckle on the rubber, so if you have a blacksteel you'd already have the buckle.

Interesting.....

I have found a carbon fibre version with red stitching and also a calfskin with a double red row of stitches, but still haven't found one that I think is quite right.

I'm also sorely tempted by a DLC Pro II as well - trying to find someone locally to quote on it.

HKtan makes some really high quality straps, he also makes amazing custom made straps. He makes the best IWC big pilot strap in the game, unfortunately his custom straps can take up to 2-3 months to deliver. I really like that strap on the blacksteel, a good look

Hmmmm, the Blacksteel seems to be a difficulty beast on which to get the strap right.

I'm not sure what I would do if I was in the market for one. Personally I like straps on watches and normally I'd go with a standard black croco on a deployant, but the Blacksteel is a little too sporty IMHO to work with croco. Also there's no DLC deployant available, so that'd look a little odd to me.

If only Breitling made a DLC Pro II from the outset I'm pretty sure all you Blacksteel owners would be over the moon!

Another option you may have instead of going down the custom DLC Pro II route is to buy an Ocean Racer strap and just have the deployant DLC'd by someone. It'd work out cheaper than a whole bracelet and look pretty superb in my book.
