If you'd prefer an all black dial, search for the forerunner to the Chrono Colt, the Chrono Shark Quartz. Made 20 or so years ago using the same basic movement. Here's mine.

The shark looks great too! Is it pretty much the same size and weight? Cuz I dont want anything heavier than the colt. How much would this cost?
Also if I wanted to buy that colt in the previous post of mine where would be the cheapest I can get it and what would that price be? Anyone know?
Thanks!

If I was to buy this in black with the steel strap, what is the lowest I could possibly buy it for in USD here in the USA? Also what would the price of this used but in excellent condition end up being?

Cheers guys you are all SO helpful!! Thanks for your patience!

Personally I buy non working Pluton variants for $200-$400 all the time. Still easy to find movements for if you know where to look. I've got a couple laying around just waiting for more broken Pluton's. The current market for nice ones is bottomed out at the moment so don't expect to sell a nice one for any more than $650-$750. Just a few months ago they were around $800-$900. The market fluctuates all the time.

Ok so I might just pull the trigger on the Breitling Chrono Colt A7338011.B782.811A

I checked Tourneau today for prices and was just wondering if its actually possible to get it for cheaper from somewhere else?? Also I've heard that I can get stores to bring down the price a good 25%. Is that true even for a store like Tourneau???

No. If you want a discount, Tourneau is not your store. Best you'll get out of them is a 0% interest deal...but at full list...which is dumb on that particular watch..

Do you happen to know where best to buy the watch at a nice discounted price in the US particularly San Francisco would be? Some reputed online store perhaps?
Thanks!

There are no online ADs. We have two ADs in the US who sponsor the site and will look after you - PM jnelson3097 for details of George at Govberg and FEAR for details of Provident.
