Hi. I've been lurking in the wings for a while and thought I would finally say hello. I have found this site very helpful with shopping info on all things Breitling.
I've always been a sucker for big watches especially ones with sub dials. I've alway been a big Breitling fan and have spent many an hour window shopping. In fact I find it very hard to walk by a jewelers without stopping lol.
Not really sure what it was but being a massive petrolhead might have something to do with it, but the Bentley series really did talk to me. I was in Barbados about 6 years ago and tried on a Bentley Motors and very nearly bought it, but never really had the funds to afford one. But that was it I was hooked and knew at somepoint in the future I would have one.
So a few months back my wife said that for Xmas she was going to get me one. I said no I don't want you to spend that sort of money on me. But she insisted and to be honest, Once she has made her mind up that was it and she would have bought it anyway. "I would rather get you one that you want" She said. So the search began.
I always thought I would get a black faced Bentley Motors, but also liked the 6.75. I came across a very promising 2008 Bentley 6.75 with a bronze dial, all the documentation and boxes everything. I was worried about buying a fake so did my research on here before going. Everything checked out and it was in fantastic condition and we bought it. We also got a brand new brown croc Breiting strap with deployant in the deal.
I have to admit that the bronze dial wasn't my favorite, but if I really didn't like it I could always get it changed as long as everything else was as it should be.. But now it has really grown on me and love it and wouldn't change it.
So here I am with my own Breitling for Bentley and I'm chuffed to bits and still can't believe it. I look and it on my wrist and really do think it is a thing of beauty. The case back is also a work of
art. I'm a precision engineer by trade so really appreciate the workmanship that goes into watchmaking. The whole thing about Breitling just says quality. I look at the bezel and the detail on the face and case back, everything and really am impressed by the whole thing.

The previous owner said he sent it back for a service which Im guessing wasn't a overhaul and it was hardly been worn since. It has got a Breitling stamp in the warranty booklet It really does look like new.
I have checked the time and I believe that it is running a little slow. I would say it has lost approx 15 secs in 24hrs which is outside the CSOC specs. So I guess it needs a little tweeking inside. I dont see this as a major problem as I will get it overhauled next year and I sure they will sort it out then

I will try and post some pics soon if your guys would like to see it.
