So I went to the AD and tried the Admiral's Cup Challenge 44mm in white and black. Here are two pics of the white one. I LOVED the watch however I am wondering if its too big for me. What do you guys think?

It also has a very nice display back and the finishing is superb.

YOU DO HAVE SMALL ARMS! I THINK IT LOOKS RIGHT THOUGH, THE 48 ON ME LOOKS WAY SMALLER THAN THE 44 ON YOU, THATS FUNNY. BUT LIKE I SAID, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BIG

THE LUG AND STRAP SHAPE MAKES IT FIT SMALLER ARMS BETTER. LOOKS GREAT, TAKE IT HOME! OR CALL ME AD I'LL GET YOU ONE.. BUT EITHER WAY!
DID YOU TRY ON A 48?

It looks big, but then again it's supposed to. I think you can pull it off, it doesn't look like the lugs are hanging over your wrist, maybe it would look better with the black dial, white dials just look bigger to me. Great looking watch though, what'd you think of it?

DID YOU KNOW BREITLING INVENTED THE 2 BUTTON CHRONO WITH THE NAVITIMES SOME 50 YEARS AGO, BEFORE THAT, THEY ALL ALL WERE MONO PUSHERS.

It was a long time before the Navitimer.
I THOUGHT IT WAS, BUT YOU KNOW MORE, WHAT WAS IT?

1930s, 36 from memory but it's in The Book.

I am not going to lie, I really liked the way it looked and felt. Glad to know you guys think it fits good because I most def liked the way it fit! Didn't want to take it off lol. I would really like to take it home with me but I am still waiting on my Navi. Unfortunately I cant rack up a watch bill of over $10k in a month lol.

They did have the Deep Hull 48 and needless to say I could put it on without opening the clasp lol

You really opened my eyes to this brand and I intend to do some more research on it. I also got the book so I will look it over the next couple of days.

Corum could very well be my next watch. I like that the movement is tried, tested and good (Val 7753 COSC), display back with great finish, original styling, I love everything nautical, perfect match. The guy at the store said that people will notice the watch regardless and people who know about watches will especially notice it even more. For my next watch I was considering the usual suspects, Omega, Rolex, IWC, etc but I think Corum is in a very elite class and much more original.

I really liked it. Its different than whats out there at this price range at least. Its modern and robust but at good value compared to something similar from Hublot at a multiple of the price. The one on my wrist retails for $7450 Cad and the guys was pretty easy going and was offering right away 20% off. I went on Jomashop and they have some there and the deals are good.

I was mostly blown away by the display back. So detailed and neat, a major point for me.

I did try the black dial but everything I have is black dial so I thought a white one would add some diversity + I bet the white would look really nice with brown croco with the different colors from the nautical flags.

Hard part is I cant take it off my mind now. Keep looking at the pictures I took.

This watch bug is no joke. The sales guy even told me that I have the bug. He said it doesnt get better, 30 years in the business he says I have dozens of watches in a few winders and each morning its the best to look at them and pick one for the day...

I SAY TRY TO STICK TO THE LIMITEDS, THE REGUALR ONES ARE THE ONES YOU SEE WHORED OUT, SO IF THERE IS A LINMITED EDITION, THEY WILL HOLD THE VALUE BETTER

I agree with everything you guys say. I was hesitant about my first Corum purchase, but since then I've really grown to appreciate it. The faceted body and bezel make them instantly recognizable, and I get numerous comments about my Black Flag, more than for any other watch I own.

Fear, did your's come with the commemorative case and date pusher?

Wow this thing has taken a life of it's own. IMO Alex your arm needs some meat on it. Buy the 44mm size and grow to fit into it later. I dunno what size your wrist is, but it looks like it belongs to a guy who weighs 140lbs!

You know, I've searched for a Corum forum but can't find one. So this one was highjacked on one thread for a week or so. Still love my Breitlings and this forum is the best out there in my opinion.

Can't wait to see the box that sucker came in.
