Nice pics!! Congrats on the watch.

I'm surprised you thought the watch felt small on your wrist. It looks huge in your wrist shot photo. What size is your wirst, if you don't mind me asking.

Anyway, I noticed a difference in your watch compared to the stock photo on the 1st page of this thread. The sides of the sub-dials are silver on your watch where as they're black in the stock photo. I like the way your's looks better.

I just got a call from my AD. My watch won't be shipped until January. :(

My wrist size is just under 7.5" Peter.

It felt small compared to my Vintage Navitimer that's for sure!

Stef

I'm liking it; think they got it pretty much right this time.

Well I can tell you this guys, BUK are going to receive a very stern email from me this morning!

My new Navitimer Caliber 01 has a duff chrono!

I press the top chrono button which seems to have a double click and the minute chrono hand instantly jumps between one and two minutes!

Not happy at all, and that on top of the fact that my vintage Chrono-Matic which I paid BUK £1,100 for an overhaul is sticking on the chrono too!

Wow, that is not just a little petty thing. I wonder how that got past the quality control. Can you exchange it for another at the AD?

I can't do much right now until after the holidays, but as soon as they're back I'm sure we'll get things sorted. The chrono large second hand also has a chip or a white bit on it too, noticed that earlier!

Will keep you updated. I have no doubt it will be resolved to my complete satisfaction.

Stef

Well selfishly - rather you than me

But that really sucks. I am also sure that Breitling will sort it, but still shouldn't happen.

That sucks Stef, hopefully you get that beauty back soon. I really hate this thread by the way, now I want a Navi 01 again. I can't wait to see the non-le versions.
Mmmmmmm, white dial Navi 01

Stef, that's an interesting issue that's popped up. I own one of the first Chronomat B01's that rolled off the production line back in 2009 and have had an ongoing chronograph issue as well. The large sweeping seconds hand normally moves in 1/4 second increments. At one point on the dial (between the 10 and 12 hour markers) the hand will move in 1/2 second increments. Visually, it looks like it's skipping. It been back to BUSA twice and is still not resolved. I chalked it up to being one of the first movements produced, but I would think they'd have the process under control by now.

If it's any consolation, my watch was back in my hands in just over a week, so they definitely gave it priority. Their customer service was great, I just wish my chrono would work properly. Good luck with getting your issue handled.

Wow, this thread went from joy :lovesloves: to a kick in the nuts. :nutkick:  I hope you get this resolved ASAP Stef. It concerns me as I was very much considering a Navi 01 or anything with the new movement. I will say from experience that the service at BUSA has been top notch to me. They have been extremely efficient in the dealings I've had. Best of luck, and looking forward to the results and more pics of that gorgeous watch!

Don

The FedEx guy just delivered my Navi 01 moments ago. Unfortunately, the fiance is making me wait until Christmas to open it (are our women conspiring, Roff?). However, I do know it's number 1337/2000 and couldn't be more excited for the 25th to arrive. I've already seen one in the metal, so it won't be entirely overwhelming, but I'm excited nonetheless. I went with the black croc deployant, which I don't think anyone else has picked yet. I'll post pics when I get a chance.

Congrats on the arrival Craig. The good news is it'll only be a day before you can have it on the wrist. I'm looking forward to seeing the pics of the Navi on the black croc.
