But it depends what you're after I guess.

That's the problem, I don't know what the heck I'm after. I have a good mix of dress and sporty watches so I could go either way. The JLC EA gives me something I've always wanted, an alarm...and it is certainly loaded with complications which I love.

When it comes to dress watches I'll always reach for my XXI and JLC MCC and even the GMT before reaching for the 7 Day.

That EA is

Somebody here (Altair?) has one and posted a video of the alarm a while back. Very cool. Sounds great too.

Yep there's one of those sitting in Altair's very generously and well appointed watch box. Lovely watch IMO.

Just watched the video...I'm sold. That watch is gorgeous....and the alarm sounds great. Going to be a long 6 weeks until it comes in but it will be worth the wait.

Go with the 5001 but ditch that JLC for a sportier model. MCD GMT perhaps. :)

For some reason I missed the end of the thread on the EWA. If you can find one - but it. EWA is a watch I have in my sights but am waiting to find one come up second hand and minty.

Not a fan of the Rossi which there tends to be 2-3 constantly available.

You know how I feel about it. I think that Extreme Alarm is one of the sweetest watches I've seen. It's gonna be a long 6 weeks, but it'll probably be worth it.

I don't think you'll be disappointed - I'm still "extremely" happy with mine.

I love the Yacht Club, 5001 and the JLC. I'm really easy to please, aren't I? :)

Yacht Club set sail today on it's voyage back to the AD. Up next is the Extreme Alarm in about 3 weeks! Tried it on one last time today just to see if things changed and I couldn't get it back in the box fast enough!!
