I was driving along in slow traffic this morning when i looked down and the Sun caught the dial of my Steelfish just right... when i looked up only to see the car in front of me had stopped! Only just braked in time. It occured to me... how often has this happened to watch lovers? Is the true test of a WIS that you've had some kind of mishap while checking out yours or someone else's watch?

Yesterday I was driving along...on a nice sunny day in New Jersey; I decided to take a cell phone photo of my watch while driving since the sun was shimmering so nicely off of my dial....as I looked up, I saw that the van in front of me had stopped short!! I swerved and luckily avoided a lovely fender bender! That would have been an expensive photo.

HA...that's on a different level Serge. I can see taking a picture while stopped in traffic or at a red light, but it takes balls to do it while driving.

I am constatntly focusing more on my wrist than the road.

Glad to know I am not the only one.

:wowzers C'mon guys - wake up!

Maybe when the cops stop you after an accident, instead of revoking your license they should confiscate your wristwatch :poke:

Drive carefully :D

I can see it now...city, state, county ordinances passed, outlawing wearing watches when driving. Insurance rates going up for WIS drivers, not too mention your Home Owners or the "Rider" your watch collection is on going up too. Judges mandating WIS's attend WIS Anonymous...Oh the list goes on. :popo:

Then again,
Which will get you in less trouble; your wife catching you looking at your watch or looking at the girl on the side of the road? Maybe i can sell this as being good for my marriage!

Actually, mine would prefer the other girl than my Breitling, 'cause she knows I would only look or comment on the other girl but that I would actually could get another Breitling

I guess I'm not the only one. There's nothing like seeing a planet ocean just as the sun is rising. Also, I love the way my Motors T looks on a bright cloudy day if that makes any sense. Here are some iPhone photos of what I mean.
