Well with any luck it will be with me towards the end of this week!

Had a call from BUK yesterday to say it's due back to them on Thursday for despatch.

Absolutely beautiful. Was the date indicator in need of adjustment as well, like Roff said? What was done to it regarding the overhaul and how much (if you dont mind me asking). My birth year is also 1969 so I may follow your lead. Great looking "after" pics.

I never mentioned the date wheel to them to be honest as I clean forgot but it's certainly centred now! The overhaul cost was £1,169 which included new crown, pushers, plexiglass, outer bezel and overhaul of movement.

I've just put it on my black calf deployant and it looks amazing!!

LOL, tell me about it, that's almost a whole new watch!

Luckily I've just sold the Navi World, mind you not that that really helps as that money is for the Navi Caliber 01

Money well spent! I know, easy for me to say when it's not my wallet.

But seriously, what a beauty. Congrats Stef.

Congrats. In twenty years the money will be forgotten, but the watch will still be beautiful.

Congrats Stef - and hey it's only money, but that's a lot more than 'only a watch' - looks spectacular.

Thanks Roff.

Well I've had it back for 24 hours now and although there's no second hand to check by, the position of the minute hand over the markers indicates to me it hasn't lost or gained any time at all!

It's had a huge positive response from some fellow above average watch owners at work.

Now if I could just track down a spare link or two for the original No.14 bracelet.........................................

A long wait worth waiting for...

I like how they polished up the bezel too... if you want a seconds hand to time by, you can activate the chronograph...
