Hi, everyone.

A little while ago I got my B01 back from the shop for some cosmetic work. I also asked them to adjust it to run a tiny bit faster since it was off by minus 3 or 4 seconds a day. Now, this is within COSC specs, but if my timepiece is going to be off I like it to err on the plus side.

Anyway, I set my watch on saturday afternoon. Today is thursday and it is just barely off by one (1) second! Still on the minus side, but if it keeps running this accurately I really don't think I'm going to mind. :D

Any other B01 owners have any input on their accuracy?

I don't usually bump my own threads, but in this case I want to make an exception and share this.

I've been keeping track of the accuracy of my B01 after the adjustment that was made recently and they really seem to have hit the sweet spot. I can nudge the rate up or down by using the fast and slow resting positions overnight and keep it spot on.

I adjusted the time on the first of this month and as of right now it's just under one second fast.

I figure this is down to luck when it was adjusted, but it really speaks to the quality of the movement to be able to have this kind of accuracy and predictability.

I am one happy camper! :D

groucho, my B01 is extremely accurate as well. It consistently runs at -3 seconds per day. When I first got the watch, it ran at +1 sec per day. After I had to send it back to Breitling for some work on the chronograph, it came back to me running slow. However, it consistently runs slow, so I'm very pleased with it. I still have issues with the chronograph sweeping hand, though. It needs to go back again for some work.

That is really good info to hear for a guy like me who dreams of one day selling a kidney and getting a B01, of course by that time I might be able to buy one used for $500.

Hehe, I heard of a guy who sold his soul on ebay. I wonder if he got enough to buy a B01 for it... :D

I'm looking forward to other in-house movements from breitling in the future. Hopefully not all of them will have to be financed by kidneys and souls
