Love that Maratac strap, the material just seems to go so well 8)

Thanks for posting the second picture, it does look pretty good :) White stitching goes well, but I think the leather is maybe a bit too shiny?? IMO, DLC preferably needs a matt finish strap.

This is the by far the best strap for the blacksteels, its just so damn expensive:

I think it looks GREAT. I have often thought of putting a black calf on my SA BS, but only wish they had a DLC deployant for that. :? The white lettering goes very well with the white stitching on your strap. I do think that the DLC Ocean Racer clasp is the best fit/combo for the blacksteel series IMHO. I don't own one yet, but will definitely in the future. I put my SA on a Maratac strap with red stitching. Here's a pic. Thanks for posting.

Oh no you di'int. That is the bomb. Maratac huh? Googling now. That is beautiful. What is the material? And NO! Thank YOU for posting.

Hey Chief, hope you found the Maratac strap. Inexpensive and VERY comfortable. Thanks for your service BTW. I'm an active duty Marine, former CH-46 crewman. Flew CASEVAC out of TQ. :guns:

Semper Fi,

Don

Ordered the Martac. Will see how it looks when it arrives. May go back to the DPII that came with it. For $20 USD I figured I may as well put the Martac on it.

46crew: I am a active duty Naval Aircrewman and Sensor Operator flying in the SH-60B out of Mayport, Florida. I am also a Aviation Search and Rescue Swimmer. I've had a couple of rides in the CH-46. Totally different feeling "transitioning to forward flight" between the CH-46 and SH-60. Wings of Gold...thats what drew me to Breitling, gret logo.

I own the seawolf blacksteel on DPII deployant, absolutely love it! Question to the wiser, can the clasp be put on an aftermarket strap? That strap looks really badass!

Assume it's one of the Avenger's rather than Seawolf?

The strap would have to meet 3 criteria really:
Be made of rubber
Assuming correct width at watch end, be 20mm wide at the clasp ends
Have spring bar holes at each adjustment/cut point.

Think it would be a big effort to find other straps to fit.

Thanks for the reply, that's definitly good to know. I wish it was easier though. Not that i don't like the dpII, it is very comfortable but not very eye catching. Nope. It is the Seawolf BS (see pics in gallery). Why would you assume otherwise?
