So I get this Black Calf leather band with deployment clasp and put it on my Avenger Seawolf...what do you think? I know I will get some "brutally honest" coments and I welcome them. It is still growing on me. If it doesn't work out on the Blacksteel I will put it on the Evolution when dressing down the watch.

The best looking leather straps I've seen on the blacksteel models have been custom made and had red stitching. It really brought out the red accents on the dial. I'm not a huge fan of the calf leather straps, but to each his own. I think the blacksteels look best on the rubber straps.

Now that you mention it this would look good with red stitching. Thanks for your honest opinion.

:yeahthat

I don't think the black calf with white lettering looks bad at all. What I don't like is that the strap has too much of a taper. It just looks too narrow for the watch. I just think you can't beat one of the Breitling rubber strap with DLC tang buckle or deployment.
Cheers,
Carl

carlhaluss,
I have the Breitling rubber strap with DLC deployment that came with the Seawolf but am afraid of constantly scratching it on my desk and other surfaces so I attached the Breitling Diver Pro rubber strap that came "gifted" with my Chrono Evo purchase. Thank you for your opinion.

Can you take a photo of that combo from more of a distance please?

I have the Skyland BS and was contemplating the same thing. Not sure it works though :?

I don't hate it on on that calf strap........., but I don't love it either. This, and the other Blacksteel models, are the only Breitlings that benefit from custom aftermarket leather straps.

However I must be honest, but I prefer the standard rubber DPII on this one.

I don't thin it looks bad, but I think they look much better on rubber.

I think it looks GREAT. I have often thought of putting a black calf on my SA BS, but only wish they had a DLC deployant for that. :? The white lettering goes very well with the white stitching on your strap. I do think that the DLC Ocean Racer clasp is the best fit/combo for the blacksteel series IMHO. I don't own one yet, but will definitely in the future. I put my SA on a Maratac strap with red stitching. Here's a pic. Thanks for posting.

Honestly I'm not a big fan of SA's or blacksteel, but that looks outstanding.
