The Calibre 5 is the movement and you can find it in a couple of Tag watches.

However I assume you're talking about the current Aquaracer Calibre 5? If so, I think it's a fairly decent looking watch for a Tag (although I don't like rubber bezels at all), and at 43mm it a little bigger than the old Aquaracer model. The Calibre 5 movement is basically a standard ETA 2836 (I think), so it's fairly usual Tag fair in that respect.

Generally I find Tags are a lot for what they are and I don't personally like the Tag image, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily a bad watch or anything.

Assuming we're talking about the new Aquaracer, if im not mistaken, the calibre 5 is a Sellita SW200. I think Tag only uses ETA in the calibre 5 with day/date function.

That's a good point RJ. You might be right there. Either way it's a bog-standard movement.

TAG makes decent watches, but i would never buy one. Their designs don't appeal to me at all.
