So I decided to take a drive to Philly today to me the man behind the telephone, George. First off, I must say I was quite pleased. Very nice guy and takes the time to find exactly what you want. I wasn't there to buy but more there to see the new store and look at my next purchase in the near future...the Navi World.

However, it wasn't until I walked in and started talking to George when he told me, "I just got rid of the last Navi World I had in stock".
No big deal...So I decided to try a few others on like the Navitimer and the Legende. Honestly, I was rather upset by how the size of the Legende looked much smaller than I anticipated...Therefore, the Navi World would feel even smaller.

After trying those on...just for $hits and giggles I decided to try on some Bentleys . Firstly, I tried the 6.75 with brown croc and silver dial. I was blown away with how it looked and felt and honestly...SOLD! Now the funny thing was, when I first tried Breitlings on for the first time a few years back, I tried the Bentley line on and pretty much told myself F that....too big! But now after having my Chronomat for the last year or so and got used to the way the Breitling looked and felt and decided to try round two with the Bentleys, it seemed as though (mentally) my wrist has grown and it fits GREAT! Even my fiancee (who also LAUGHED at me the first time I tried to watch on years back) loved it! :D Hope she buys it for me as a wedding day gift!

Overall, GREAT EXPERIENCE and I am happy the Navi World wasn't there. Because if it was the 6.75 would have never went on my wrist. Now the bad news I may have to work a little harder to help compensate for the price difference.

PS. New store looked great! :strummin:

I just sold my 6.75 on here...as well as my black Navi World....in my opinion I prefer the World over the 6.75. The 6.75 is very heavy, has a RIM on the caseback, sits very high off the wrist, and it got extremely uncomfortable...My wrist started to hurt by the end of the day. I also stopped wearing it to work because the bezel...which i originally thought was stunning....started to look very blingy and I didn't enjoy wearing it to work or around clients.

It's a beautiful watch but I prefer the world. The white world looks just as large as the 6.75 to me.

Either way good luck with your decision and I hope you get that as a gift...that would be awesome!!!

Great story and hopefully you get that 6.75 within the next year. Did you check out any of the other brands they had while you were there?

I can say from experience that George (and Dominic) at Govbergs are true professionals and also great guys. I just wish they would move here to San Diego! :D Anyone in the Philly area interested in a watch should go see them for sure.

Yes, great guys indeed! They did not have their full inventory in stock YET. According to George they are working on product placement still and getting everything to fit.

Something funny that did happen though... George told me that he will post it on his blog- As we were looking at the 6.75 and the Motors, I was telling George about how the Motors has a 30 second Chronograph. He replied saying something like, "what are you talking about" lol. I said, I swear I read something on that" But I could be wrong. So we did the test and pressed the chronograp[hs on both the 6.75 and the motors the same time. Needless to say, I WAS RIGHT, and George said, I CANT BELIEVE I NEVER KNEW THAT! :poke: I had to laugh and responded saying, "I was gonna bet you for an extra 10% off too! haha :D

George told me he will be blogging about this one lol

Anyways, GREAT GUY, GREAT STORE! Govberg gets 100% of my business till I die! :cheer:

Cheers!

I had a world for about a week and I too thought it was a little on the small side even at 46mm.

From 6.75 to the plain Navitimer.... I was scared I would break it. And I figured the extra 2mm from navi to navi world wouldnt do it for me. However, I still do want ot see it, but I'm pretty sure its the 6.75 for me!
