I got a skyland black dial with arabic numbers as you can see in my gallery.
I've seen a lot of skylands on the net and in this forum. But most of them are with white hands and white arabic numbers. My skyland has silver hands and silver numbers.
The question is if the white hands with white arabic numbers are an older model.

You are correct. The white stencils were superseded recently by the chrome stencils, which were carried over from the Super Avenger 2009 with arabic stencils.

I'm undecided about which one I prefer: Skyland with white hands or silver hands? hmmmmm

The any-angle non-reflective contrast of the white on blue (or black) dial probably tips it in favour.... for me as witnessed by your BlackSteel

Thanks for the info. I've seen both and I prefer the silver hands and numbers for a SS watch.
What I don't like is the white painted breitling logo.

The Avenger Skyland model has the white arabics and hands. The new name for the 'chrome' looking hands and arabics is just called the Avenger I believe. That's how they are named in the recent (2009-2010) chronologs with the Skyland discontinued in 2010. The new Avenger models also are available with 'chrome' stick markers.

I think the white arabics are a little bolder and sportier looking where the 'chrome' model is more subtle and casual. Always something for everybody with the Breitlings .
