Hello to all. I have been on this forum always picking up information on Breitlings and now took the few minutes to sign up as a member.
I wanted to know if any of you men out there own a Breitling B-1 and what do you think about it. I have been looking to pull the trigger on one to add to my collection. It looks very sharp and has a ton og goodies.........Tell me what you think. Thanks!

I can't give you fair review of B-1 as I got it just a week ago at still very exited :-))
I'm not a big fan of electronic watches but B-1 make me change my mind... I just love it, the look, the feel, the functionality, the quality of craftmanship as good as any other ling out there. Anyway, B-1 & B-2 is my all time favorit Breitling. Cheers, and welcome to club!

I've had my B1 for many years and it works great, love it. Highly recommend! The only (and I mean ONLY) thing I don't like about it is that when the minute hand is between 25 and 35 it can be difficult to read the bottom display. Looks like they fixed this with the Airwolf.

I'm just not a fan of battery operated watches.

Breitling quartz watches are VERY complex, and the everyday Average Joe won't be able to slap a battery in one. It is recommended the service be performed by a dealer.

I own B-1 for more than 2 years now. Excellent in all respects - this is an instrument rather just a watch. The only thing that I would complain about is that its phosphor is not as strong as my other Breitlings (Aerospace and EVO). Other wise, its readability is next to none, its functionality excellent and its looks - although personal tastes vary - are at least very acceptable.

Well.... B1 is by far the best watch i have ever had. I am thinking about buying the Skyland, but my biggest worry is that I will miss the alarm and so on.

I have had my B1 for about 6-7 years now and is still superb. For me there is only one complain and thats the same as another guy who wrote here, the problem about the hand covering the display between 25 to 35.
I may seem like a small problem but trust me it is not. But despite that is a world leader. Wonder if the skyland will take its place.

Hello all-
Collected my B1-blackdial ( 2003 ) yesterday evening -
Whwooooh - What can I say this is one hell of a watch
First thing I noticed was the weight - superb - you know this watch is there, the dial is just right a good balance between minimal and busy
Great functions on this watch aswell -
First thing the wife said to me was the bracelet looked great - and it does
large in size but not to brash - superb ( just for the Gangsta in da house :D )
Spoken to a few army pilots in my time - they would happly sell their mother for this watch -
Very desirable - that is one of the reason I bought one :D

RickS & Nosher - Nice watch eh 8) --- enjoy
Kindest regards to all
Gaz
