I knew this was going to open a can of worms... lets just say good taste is nto limited to age...and leave it at that.... (mind you what you classify as good taste is also subjective)

Easy mate, I'm only 58! (hey it rhymes) It is great to have people of all age groups on here. Actually, most of the people I work with are less than half my age. Keeps me on my toes!
Love your collection. That Patek Philippe with Month/Day/Date is incredible. I know a fellow who has an old Patek Philippe of his Grandfather's. He works in a shop, so I don't see him often, but hope I catch him one day wearing the watch.
Great collection and great photos! Must be difficult, though, to decide which one to wear. I have only 5 watches (I guess that's a lot when you consider most people only have one or none at all), but I seem to wear the same one all the time. I have an Ocean Racer strap on order for my Steelfish, so I think when that arrives I will be wearing it more.
Cheers,
Carl

It IS great to have people of all ages...I tend to work on projects where people are MUCH older then i am... soo ummm.... anyhow...

what i really wanted to say is that Deciding an every day watch for me is not hard, its my chrono evo... :lingsrock: that gets worn every day. The weekend watch well that really depends what I do and where i go...

I might decide to buy a bracelet today for my chrono....I am due to take an exam (company exams) and depending on how shattered and happy i am i might buy it....will post pics IF i do....

Regards

M

Truly amazing collection, I could just imagine what other pieces you have added, I enjoyed your pics quite a bit. You could always update the thread with your recent collection!

Hi all thanks for the lovey comments..I have never posted all my watches in one place...and i will try and do it in here.... I live in London... and my home is adequately protected... its not a matter of money... i have always collected watches...My first 'luxuary' when i was 19 was rolex sub..money for which i saved from working in Comet (electrical retail store)! lol... My first watch period was a casio (dad bought that one!)

anyway... my/family's watch collection is approaching in its mid twentys i think... so hopefullly a long way to go. (I am 28 now)...I primiraly like watches for two reason.. either they look great.... or they are enormously complicated.... I did own a Jacobs wacth... for all it blingness.... BUT returned it to my AD very soon afterwards...(he took it back also!!)... as really dont want too blingy...It invites attention from wrong people.. understated elegance is good....some pieces in the collection are outrageous though....

Cheers

M

Good to see another 20-something on these forums, I have been getting tired of all these old farts   27 here.

Well done my friend, that collection speaks volumes. I too have enjoyed luxury watches for years (first Rolex at 16) and it just keeps getting worse.

hows your collection looking now Altair? im sure the guys here would love an update!
