I just want to make sure this is the correct tool. Also has anyone ever heard or ordered from this site before? Thanks

Right tool as has been said dozens of times on here, but that's too much money. As has also been said, preferred supplier is www.watchtool.co.uk - VAT free price is about half the cost of the one you found.

I use that site - Bob Davis. You get 1 extra pin tip and 1 extra forked tip with the tool - 4 tips total for that price. Keep that in mind. It's also quicker for me being in the States.

Sure it's likely quicker, but you can get extra pins and forks from watchtool.

I've never used Bob Davis, I use Otto Frei for most of my big orders (shipping is awful on small things) for watch making and Jules Borel for movements, but I still find better deals at watchtool on a fairly regular basis.

One thing I learned - if you change out bracelets and straps as frequently as do I, get MANY extra tips.


Not having to convert British pounds to USD is worth a few bucks for this addled brain.

Hey guys...the tracking for Royal Mail says my package arrived overseas for shipment September 1st. It hasn't updated since then. Do you think it was stopped at customs for some reason? I regret ordering overseas now

I've had some customs delays on things in the past - not usually more than 3 or 4 days though. Can you contact US (I assume) customs?

I will have to look into that to see if I can. Yes, I'm in the US. If the package got shipped out the 1st though is giving 9 days enough to be concerned? Not sure if it being a US holiday on Monday could have something to do with the customs delay.......

I use a cold chistle to change straps or a pneumatic drill whichever is more handy.

6767F......I give them to my watch mad mates (Davey, Rik) and yes that it too much money!

Whenever, I order from the States I always try to remember that the customs delays and charges are the fault of the UK and try not to blame the sender. (not implying the OP was/is).
