Hey guys,

I think I may be the last lucky person to get hold of the BS LE II as far as I know! I was recently looking to get a Steinhart black PVD NAV B Chrono and came across the BS LE II (from another forum), not knowing it as a Breitling Source project in the first place!

I contact Mr Steinhart on my interest of the black PVD Nav B Chrono and to my suprise, he offered me the last of the BS LE II! After a day of consideration and many readings (pics) about the project. I can't help myself and fallen in love with the BS LE II and have to get one!

Picked up the phone and confirmed my order with Mr Steinhart. Got lucky number 3, yay! Just got my fedex tracking information from Steinhart today and looking forward for its arrival in a couple of days!!

Very excited now!! :cheer: :cheer:

Just want thank all the members (especially Altair  ) here who are invloved with this project and making this happen!

Gunter Steinhart has stepped in and personally attempted to clean up the issues. Evidently the staff person, Eva, went by the original PP receipts, not the changes Atair provided her. So I got #13 - my initial # - and #12 engraved "Sharkman" is waiting to be shipped. I have no reason to believe Stenhart has a general shipping problem.

I have #13 on my wrist now - it has a German date wheel. I like that, except when the alarm went off this morning and I looked at my watch it was a bit disconcerting to see "DIE 3" looking back at me!

Lucky number 13!!! Why is it a Swiss Watch if it's made in Germany? Swiss movement?

"In sum, a watch is considered Swiss whose movement is Swiss, whose movement is encased in Switzerland and whose final control by the manufacturer takes place in Switzerland."

I can design and sell swiss watches from Phoenix. Any investors out there - I'll give you my wire details. :)

I think the line on what makes a watch "swiss made" vs "swiss movt" have gotten very grey in the past several years. It used to be very clear. Not the case anymore. Also, swiss made watches used to have "swiss made" on the dial. Again, not the case anymore.

According to Steinhart their watches are made in Jura Switzerland, but shipped to Augsburg in Germany as that is where Steinhart are based. I guess that is where final QC and packaging takes place.

It's a Swiss watch becasue as Driver8 says it's made in Switzerland.

The line about what makes a watch Swiss isn't grey at all, it's very well defined, very strictly controlled (as you would expect) and has been discussed previously.
