Can anyone post the difference between the "Newer" bracelet style vs. the "Old' one.

It would be great to have a side by side comparison of the same watch with both bracelets (if possible)

Thanks!

Do you mean the Pro I and the Pro II? If so, then I can't help you with a picture, but I can tell you that I personally find the Pro II streets ahead of the Pro I. The Pro I had slightly raised centre-links and had "straight-cut" links instead of the flat "diagonal-cut" links of the Pro II. As a result the Pro II seems to sit on my wrist far better. Additionally (and I'm guessing this is a result of the diagonal-cut) the Pro II has far less lateral play than the Pro I. However the Pro II doesn't have a divers extension whereas the Pro I did........... if that's important to you.

As I say, I'd always take the Pro II over the Pro I any day of the week.

Yes that is exactly what I meant and am looking for.

I agree 100% percent! Actually I think the Pro I is the (JMO) ugliest bracelet that Breitling makes by a mile! I would never consider purchasing the SA if the Pro II didn't come to market. :cheer:

I thought it would be cool to show an actual comparison though(bracelet wise)

pro2 all the way! Those slanted links are one of Breitlings signatures in my eyes!

While I do have to say that the Pro II does indeed look better than the Pro I, I have a Pro I on my SA and I have no intention of swapping and I will tell you why. The primary reason is that it isn't worth the $500 for a pro II from an AD or maybe $300 used when you have a perfectly good bracelet on the watch. While the pro II may look better I think part of it is that it is just more "blingy" and as we all know the SA's size is already in your face. the Pro I is almost sometimes a nice touch because it tones the watch down just a bit. Also, the Pro I "gives" a bit more and honestly I think in certain instances one could argue that it is actually more comfortable so for now the Pro I is staying right where it belongs, on my SA!
