A few months ago I made a decision to reduce the duplicates in my Breitling collection and branch out into some different watch companies. I found myself with a white world and a black world.....a polished blackbird and a brushed blackbird.....and a blue navitimer Olympus and a white montbrillant Olympus.

So far I have sold the black World and the polished Blackbird. Should I part with my blue Navitimer Olympus? This is a tough call for me because I really enjoy the 4 year perpetual calendar, moon phase, and overall look/feel of the Olympus models.

Any thoughts? If I sell the Navi Olympus I'm thinking of adding a Pam 287k black seal, or a Zenith Chronomaster XXT.

I'd sell it and get something from a different brand. Once you're thinking about selling it, you might as well. At least that's been my experience.

Of the two I would sell the Montbrillant Olympus and keep the Navi Olympus. Given the nature of previous comments about PAMs I'm just amazed that you are looking at one.

Sell the MB Olympus?? Really?? Any reason why? When I first became interested in watches that was my Grail.....and to this day I still love it. White dial with brown croc, just a stunning piece to me....I can't part with that one. Maybe I'll keep both because they do have some differences, ie bezel, dial color layout, sticks v numerals. Etc.

I ended my previous comments about PAMs with 'I do like radiomir's.' in my opinion the 287 black seal is a very clean & classy looking watch.

I meant comments from earlier posts.

I just find the Navitimer Olympus to just be a more complete package than the Montbrillant Olympus - I've just never found the Monty to be quite as 'balanced'. Yough to describe, but aesthetically I just find the Navi more appealing.

Well that's a tough call. I like the look of the Monty better, I don't really know why, I also like the case back on it along with the hands and the bezel. Little things I know, but the little things like that are what usually push me towards or away from a watch, like the fact that I didn't get an Avenger because I didn't like that the Breitling logo wasn't the applied white gold one. I think that a PAM would be a great addition to your collection even though I don't like Radomirs, it looks like they're missing something. :poke:

Do these look too much alike? If so, which one goes?

Seeing those two only i would keep the Monty too, but since you have a Navi World in a silver dial, you may want to keep the blue dialed Navi Olympus..

Think about it more i guess.
