Hi all,

I've been given a Breitling watch, model number B13048. Are there any tell tale signs that would tell me if this is a genuine product? To me it looks like the real thing but I know nothing about these watches.

Secondly it's not ticking, I don't want to take it apart and damage it so if someone could point me to an online manual etc so I can see how it's supposed to wind up I'd be very grateful.

Thanks
Gemma

Post pictures in the replica section and we'll soon tell you if it's real.

In terms of winding it up, just unscrew the crown (counter clockwise) until it pops out slightly and then turn it clockwise for 40 turns. PUsh and hold the crown back against the case and turn it clockwise to screw it in.

Does it look exactly like this - http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... er_73.html

....because with that model number it should! :)

But as Roff said, post us some pictures and we'll soon know.

Thanks for replying guys.

No it looks nothing like that, and it doesn't look like it's working either. So I guess that answers my question!
