For the rest of your life. Which would it be? That one time piece you can only wear for the rest of your life. Make it count.

Mine would be a chronomat with a silver/white dial.

Yikes!

Are there any rules? Can I spend anything, can I liquidate everything that I have to finance an acquisition, does it have to be a current piece/??

Help a guy out here I have about 200 watches going through my head right now :?

OK, I'll have first dibs on this one. You didn't say I had to be able to afford it!

Back in the real world, I'd probably go for a Sub. Boring choice but timeless.

Probably my Superocean. Durable, simple. I wouldn't want something real fancy, because I couldn't wear it everywhere.

In dream world Breguet Grande Complication Tourbillon. In the real world it would be my Monbrillant Olympus.

I'm sorry this is off topic, but I think I fell asleep here recently. I just noticed the Olympus is not in the 2010 Pure Breitling catalog. Did they really discontinue this? If so - bummer! :(

As far as my one and only watch - ??? still trying to figure that out.

It would have to be a dive watch for me, they are my first love.

Hmmm, will have to give this one some thought. First ones to come to mind are Rolex Sub, UN MMD, Omega Seamaster & PO, but if there are no rules on affordability, maybe I should come up with something more exotic.

EDIT - though about it for part of this afternoon at work  . Rolex Sub or SD still the frontrunner.

I know it may be common, but I think it would have to be either a Submariner or the new 41mm Datejust

I already own that watch - Rolex Submariner LV. Not sure if I would stick with the green bezel or want to use a black one instead.

I'll gladly take this watch in my dream world, IWC Grande Complication and for my real, everyday life this Carl F. Bucherer Patravi TravelTec Chrono!

I'm gonna go with this. A Panerai Luminor Chrono, a timeless design, Chrono function, it only has a water resistance of 100 meters, but I don't do any diving or anything like that, and you never said how many straps we could have so this could go with anything.

Yes, I believe they retired the Montbrillant Olympus, someone here mentioned it after Bazel. Anyone know if they replaced it with another moon phase/4 year perp calendar?
