You get the idea - a lot more than Landeron and venus in the 30s.

Thanks Roff, I don't think any of them were third party chronograph manufacturers,
the other manufacturers of Chrono's besides Valjoux in this period would have be inhouse, Minerva, Pierce, Longines, etc.
(unless anyone knows any others)
I'm not sure if Lemania produced for other people in the Thirties?

I was intrigued by the idea that as Ebauches SA supplied Breitling with Venus movements, it would
also mean that Breitling would have had easy access to Landeron as well. Just a thought.

Would need to check Lemania, I don't recall.

Ebauches SA was a strange structure. It was more of a holding company than a controlling influence so each manufacturer still had some autonomy. That said there was definitely support between the different companies, and it's not illogical to think that the movements could have been used. All that said - there are far more Ebauches SA member companies that never sold to Breitling than did sell.

New strap just arrived from Banda. Now it really looks like an early aviator watch.

You buy straps that I would never dream of wearing Paul, but I have to admit, I've never seen a bad choice yet - that overall look is incredible.

It's a small watch so this style strap makes it wear a lot bigger. I've got an 8" wrist so anything under 38mm tends to look like a marble on a string.
